Respected Garg ji

This is a key from FLORA OF CHANBA and FLORA OF KULLU by Prof. M.
Sharma of Punjabi University, Patiala. This may be of some use.

1. Leaves very variable; stems 0.5-1.5m long; heads many, in terminal
panicles; florets 3-5 in a head: Prenanthes brunoniana (Lactuca
brunoniana)

1. Leaves always ovate or triangular; stems 0.3-0.6m long; heads few,
subpanicled or racemed or solitary; florets 3-8 in a head: Prenanthes
violifolia (Lactuca violifolia)

According to this key, posts on page Prenanthes violifolia of efi do
not matches with the description of Prenanthes violifolia.
