resurfacing for id. Yes I also think as Fuirena ciliaris (= Scirpus), a sedge 
as identified by Vijayasankar ji.sorry for delayed reply, as i was buisy in a 
training programme "Training for Trainers Conservation Parctitioners Course" 
initiated by Global Tiger Initiative Conservation and Development Network",  & 
organised by Smithsonian Institute and WII.
