I have not seen soft hairs on this species whenever I collected it.

mention these hair as deciduous; could it be the case here (?) or the 
variation within a species. Or it may be a varietal difference; I do not 
know. However, I am sure about the identity of species based on its 
description in Flora of Upper Gangetic Plains (Duthie 1903-29), Flora of

If not F. lineata it requires a better ID; may be you have some suggestion.
