Hi, Of course this is not I.polyantha. But as Avinash said it could be I. finlyasiana. For confirmation please check two things. Whether the branches of inflorescence is glabrous and whether the flower has large membranous calyx. This was reported in wild in Mysore and scrub forests in Bangalore (old Bangalore) during 1920's
