Dear friends,
I would like to know about the Hindi name खेत पापड़ (khet papar) for *Mollugo
pentaphylla*

खेत = field; पापड़ = thin, crisp cakes made from flour, that serve as an
accompaniment to main meal

The plant could be finding fields as a good habitat; but how does पापड़ fit
into the common name ?
Please help me in knowing which aspect of the plant is thin, wafer-like in
context of *Mollugo pentaphylla*.

The name is derived from the Sanskrit name पर्पट parpata for several
plants - having the same meaning.

Regards.
Dinesh
