I think he is right. On zooming in I do see hairs on the petiole. Hairs are not just present in early stages but can be seen in mature stage too. One best way is (IF YOU WISH) lick the stem and leaf and you can feel the invisible hairs on your tongue. Thanks for correcting. Pankaj
