Dear all, The Congress-weed has its origin at Kerala. They call two those wide spread weeds as Congress-weed and Communist-weed; (as those two parties dominating there), each opposite group called the weed names along with their opponents.
For instance, *Wedelia trilobata* is called as Communist-weed. Also I heard that *Chromolena odorata* is called as Congress-weed.
