I checked all post in efi site at *Hibiscus hispidissimus* Griff. <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/m/malvaceae/hibiscus/hibiscus-hispidissimus> and *Hibiscus surattensis* L. <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/m/malvaceae/hibiscus/hibiscus-surattensis> - these seems to be OK. determination based on stem prickles may be confusing. So better to go with the stipules.
