Mah. 2: 256, 1998; Pradhan et al, Fl. SGNP 271, 2005. Synonyms: Eugenia acutangula L., Sp. 673, 1753. Stravadium acutangulum Miers., Trans. L. Soc Serv. 2, Bot. 1: 80, 1875. Stravadium rheedii Miers, I.c. 82, 1875. Common names: Indian Oak, Dhatriphal, Tivar, Ingli. commonly grows along teh periphery of lakes or along the river. i have read in a thesis on Plants of Thane(deposited at Mumbai university library, kalina, Mumbai). i dnt remember the author. she has mentioned abt a yellow form of this growing in a private compound of society. the author has also provided a photograph.
