The final id has to be Narcissus ...unknown varieties, cultivars, hybrids Apparently there are over 13,000 distinct *daffodil* varieties in existence. For any id you then need an expert who knows their daffodils extremely well.
For each flower you would need to know when it flowers, early spring or later. You would need to see a side pic and front pic of each flower with measurements to know if it is a giant or a dwarf. Whether the trumpet is long or squashed almost flat. Whether it it is frilly or smooth etc etc. On Friday, April 1, 2022 at 4:46:35 AM UTC+1 Mahadeswara wrote: > Again beautiful images !!! > Looking forward to know the final ID. > > On Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 10:43:49 PM UTC+5:30 Plantaholic Sheila. > wrote: > >> I am so sorry but none of these are Narcissus pseudonarcissus...a >> delightful wild dwarf daffodil. >> Yes....all these are Narcissus but created by man...cultivars...probably >> each one has a different cultivar name. >> It is completely wrong to label any of them Narcissus pseudonarcissus >> >> On Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 6:06:02 PM UTC+1 [email protected] >> wrote: >> >>> Dear members i am adding Narcissus pseudonarcissus >>> Location Botanical garden Cheshm shahi Srinagar >>> Date of Collection 31-03-2022 >>> >> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "efloraofindia" group.
