Surprisingly there is a similar looking Weigela florida <https://efloraofindia.com/2016/07/12/weigela-florida/> (also see POWO <https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:150035-1>) also, but the calyx looks a bit different. And there is also similar looking Weigela hortensis <https://efloraofindia.com/2011/04/05/weigela-hortensis/>
