Good morning, An aquatic/ wetland plant, It is possibly Aeschynomene indica by its yellow flowers and grows in rainy seasons by river banks.
The difference is described thus.. Aeschynomene americana may be distinguished from A. indica by its obliquely topped leaflets with 2-5 nerves, its up to 2-mm-long pod stalk, and its incised dorsal pod suture (Soerjani et al., 1987). A. americana is perennial, and has pink flowers whereas those of A. indica are yellow. The peduncles and pedicels of A. americana may be viscid.
