1. Just an observation. If you look closely the stalk under the fruits are
channelled and the base of that stalk is segmented. Which basically means
that the fruits have been attached to a petiole and the hey are not on
peduncle. But yes the fruits do look like Semecarpus anacardium. So it
means someone is indeed playing a trick.
2. Same goes for this plant. Semecarpus leaves I don’t remember they turn
reddish but yes Kendu/Tendu does have reddish leaves in the beginning.
