As per POWO, the following subspecies are reported: Cerastium fontanum var. angustifolium (M.Mizush.) H.Hara <https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:875734-1> Cerastium fontanum subsp. grandiflorum H.Hara <https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:875735-1>
