I know that its a bug and not beetle, but I have doubts about your identification. Can you please find me a link or reference where I can get this name Chrysochloris (whatever you have used), because I thought this to be Scutiphora pedicellata. It is very commonly seen feeding on Securinega virosa in our campus. I would be happy to be wrong.
