Its really strange that this species is found in Central and South China, Eastern Himalaya and Western Ghats but why it is not there in Uttarakhand. Dear Adesh, I am not sure but seems you are one on my facebook. Just wanted to add that being locally abundant doesnt reduce the concern of conserving a species. At the same time, Habenaria heyneana is endemic to south India, so the habitat needs to be conserved anyways. Regards Pankaj
