Hi Dinesh ji,

The name Anaparuga doesn't sound like a Tamil name to me.

I found another Tamil name, "Parattan kodi", recorded for the plant in this
paper
<https://www.researchgate.net/publication/43772085_Herbal_medicines_for_wound_healing_among_tribal_people_in_Southern_India_Ethnobotanical_and_Scientific_evidences>
but it's probably a modified spoken version of "Paraiottan" that we
discussed earlier (plus kodi கொடி means climber).

Best,
Vijayasankar
