I am not confident about species of *Montanoa*. I checked the statistics of *Montanoa* observations in the districts of Nilgiris <https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=32492&taxon_id=154033> (4) and Coimbatore <https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=32481&taxon_id=154033> (25) All of them belong to *Montanoa hibiscifolia* Benth.
