But perhaps not that simple
There are at least eight species sold under the name Safed Musli, 6 from
Chlorophytum

Chlorophytum arundinaceum
C. attenuatum
C. borivillianum
C. breviscapum
C. malabericum
C. tuberocum
Asparagus filicinus
A gonoclados

Will have to find a key for these six species to know the species.
