hello, This unidentified herb is 'Heracleum pinda', photographed on hill top of Kadachadri on 2.10.2010. Sri K Sampathkumar, identified it. It is referred in Flora of Shimoga district by Radhakrishna Rao et al. This has been recorded in the hills of Harishchndragad and Harsar in Maharasthra. For the first time it is recorded in Karnataka by Dr Radhakrishna Rao.
