Thanks for the suggestion.
But I hesitate to confirm this ID on 2 counts:
The corolla shape is different from the many pictures of Adhatoda ... lower
lobe is more reflexed  and  on the edges as well,    , upper lobe also edges
slightly relfexed away from centre of corolla

The bracts  are bi-colored with white/ pale green edges, seem membranous;
while the Adhatoda i have seem had green and more leafy  bracts.  Could  be
a different species.

The color of the flower was actually  pale blue as in the picture,  not
mauve or light purple.
