Thank you for the kind words, Dr Usha. I wouldn't have recognised these
trees if not for the interest fuelled by your tree appreciation walks, so I
am really thankful to you and your colleagues.

It is nothing much compared to the amazing trees all of you have been
showing everybody in Mumbai since the last one year.

PS.: Earlier today, I saw another Cassia grandis in the premises of the
Western Railways HQ in Churchgate [opposite platform no. 4]. It is flowering
sparsely, not as well as the ones in Kandivali. It is laden with pods and
several of them have split open on the tree itself. There are two more
Cassia sp. with leafy stipules beside this tree and look forward to seeing
them flower.
