Yes Nalini ji
One of the commonest Irises in Kashmir. Many species of Iris are grown in
graveyards in Kashmir, and locally known as MAZAAR MOND (MAZAAR: Graveyard,
MOND: root or swollen underground part, mostly rhizome in this case; Mond is
also the Kashmiri name of Knol khol or Kohlrabi).
