My dear Friends,I have been picking THESPESIA POPULNEA Seeds for a decade now
in Chennai. The seeds are enclosed in the Pod which is quite simple in a
Tropical Chennai climate. However in Bangalore ,the Pods have an extra
Water-proof cover..I am picking these seeds only since 6 months.  My
analysis is that Bangalore weather is  more humid, and the seeds have to
be protected once they fall to the ground. To keep the  Seeds dry this
appears to be a natural mutation. I can send the seeds ,pods and  as i
picked up in both places so that it  can be a research material  for
Botany/ Horticulture/ Forest Research students.Since I am basically only a
BE.(Mech),I wanted to share my observations with  members of
