This should be Embelia drupacea (Dennst.) M.R.Almeida & S.M.Almeida of
Primulaceae. Pls confirm if the petioles are chanelled or post a
recent picture of the climber. The local name is Ambat and is a
favourite of Ratufa. Regards, Shrikant
