Madhuri Ji, वंचक means one who deceives or cheats. Pond heron probably
got dis name cauz it got a brilliant camouflage and it can be easily
missed ,even when it is very near. Also it has a habit of standing
still to remain inconspicuous.
 Another name u mentioned ढोकरी ..I dnt think it has any Hindi
meaning...probably in sm other language.
