Dear Members
Campanulaceae and Gentianaceae Week was another very successful Week,
thanks our thought of combining two families in one episode. We saw huge
display of interesting genera from mainly Western Himalayas and Western
Ghats. Many of us got to see several new genera from these two families
during the week, with perhaps maximum number of members sharing their
uploads. We had more than 100 uploads and nearly four hundred responses
concerning this episode during the Week. Prashant ji, Dinesh ji and Nidhan
ji again showed rich collections in their database. We were also luck to
have Suresh ji participating in a big way on the last day with his
interesting uploads from Paddar valley.
Thanks to all the members for their uploads and all those who
encouraged others, provided identifications and valuable suggestions.
Satish Phadke ji we missed your valuable uploads from Western Ghats as well
as Himalayas. Enjoy your trip in USA and bring back interesting photographs.
