Dear all,

How do we cite two voucher specimens collected from the same locality in
different dates.???
Suppose if it is a tree species, when a voucher specimen with flowers were
collected in 12 June 2011 and fruits in the next year 15 August 2012.
We have to give separate voucher numbers since both the specimens were
collected in different seasons and dates.
How do we cite these two voucher specimens in our species description (as
specimens examined)??
Should I use "*ib.*" or "*Ibid*." while citing the second specimen?? Or
should I repeat the locality as such.

*Specimens Examined*: Kerala, Idukki Dist., Munnar, 12.06.2011, *Manudev
30124*; Munnar, 15.08.2012, *Manudev 32331* (DEV). OR

*Specimens Examined*: Kerala, Idukki Dist., Munnar, 12.06.2011, *Manudev
30124*; *ibid*., 15.08.2012, *Manudev 32331* (DEV). OR

30124*, 15.08.2012, *Manudev 32331* (DEV)

If the specimens were collected in the same date.. and were given different
numbers (suppose 12 June 2011)

*Specimens Examined*: Kerala, Idukki Dist., Munnar, 12.06.2011, *Manudev
30124*, *32331* (DEV) OR

*Specimens Examined*: Kerala, Idukki Dist., Munnar, 12.06.2011, *Manudev
30124*; Munnar, 12.06.2011, *Manudev 32331* (DEV). OR

*Specimens Examined*: Kerala, Idukki Dist., Munnar, 12.06.2011, *Manudev
30124*; *ibid*., 12.06.2011, *Manudev 32331* (DEV). OR

30124*, 12.06.2011, *Manudev 32331* (DEV)

which of the above methods are correct??

Hoping to hear from you soon
