This is U.purpurascens  not a different species.
The colour is due to lack of pigment which is very common in plant and animal 
world. Often refered to as albinos.

There were few white flowers found in the carpet of Utricularia
purpurascens at Chalkewadi (near Satara, Maharashtra). Is this a
diffrent species or sub species of morpholigical diffrence ?
