Interesting plant indeed.
I tried to find the typical petal with a frond observed in Polygalaceae but
a more closeup shot would show it clearly.
Polygalaceae contains some 17 genera and 800 species.
In Maharashtra only 2 genera are reported

Leaves are amplexicaul; Flowers in spikes; stamens 4-5; capsule
toothed.......*Salomonia*
Leaves not as above; flowers in racemes; stamens 8 capsule
entire.................*Polygala*
I can see somewhat amplexicaul leaves here. The spikes are very long as
compared to other Polygala species posted on the group so far.
I would like to know the place and other details of the plant Mithilesh ji.
