You can try to fix these things in source tree yourself, if you join the Individual Screenlets team. If you have a good will and basic knowledge of version control systems, then just read http://www.screenlets.org/index.php/Documentation#Help_to_develop_Screenlets and quick notes from https://launchpad.net/~indiv-screenlets-dev and you are most welcome to try. Also, fixing the latest version would be a good idea too, patches you made are actually for the old version.
