[MailCheck] MailCheck can neither start evolution nor connect to POP3

Bug description:
As the summary says, I can't get MailCheck to connect to my POP3 server or
open evolution.
I have attached the output I received from starting the screenlet from a
terminal.
These are the versions:
Screenlets 0.1.2
MailCheck 0.3 (the one that comes with screenlets 0.1.2)
Ubuntu 8.04
