LSB 3.0 Training Workshop
*********************************
The Information Technology Standards Committee (ITSC), together
with the Institute of Systems Science (ISS) [1] and the Linux
Users' Group (Singapore) (LUGS)[2], is holding a one-day LSB
3.0 Training Workshop on 1 September.
Linux Standards Base (LSB)[4] version 3.0 specification was
newly released on July 1, 2005 by the Free Standards Group.
The organisers see this as a timely move to organize the
Training Workshop on LSB version 3.0 for the open source
community in Singapore. Mats Wichmann, Chairman of LSB Project,
will be personally conducting the workshop, which aims to equip
participants with an understanding of the LSB version 3.0
compliance test program for runtime systems and applications.
Pre-requisites of participants: Prior experience with installing
& using Linux will be useful. Preferably to familiarize themselves
with LSB specification before they come for training.
