Memang betul, costly. Tapi pemikiran DBA dgn pemikiran programmer tuh memang terkadang nggak klop/beda. Kalau saya pribadi, utk kasus ini memposisikan diri sbg programmer. Yg penting apa yg diinginkan "jadi"...nggak mikir ke masalah performance (parsing, network bandwidth, dll). Toh aksesnya cuma ke fungsi & table "dual". Dan secara umum aplikasi yg menggunakan Oracle Form tidak ingin "ngebut", biar lambat asal selamat,...alon-alon asal kelakon. Sekali proses cukup satu atau beberapa records yg ditampilkan.
