Untuk archiving ada beberapa tools yg tersedia, diantaranya Oracle ILM (produknya Oracle), HP ILM (produknya HP) dan ISI ILM (Produk lokal buatan sendiri). secara konsep semuanya sama, memindahkan data lama/tidak aktif ke storage yang berbeda. Namun untuk beda server, saat ini yang sudah pernah lihat/coba punya HP dan ISI. digunakan di Oracle E-Business Suite, bisa diakses dari satu aplikasi, cukup mengganti responsibilitynya. Oracle ILM memanfaatkan fungsi partition untuk membedakan storage. umumnya data lama dipindah ke storage yg murah (cuma kondisi saat ini harga storage udah cukup murah untuk type FC dibanding 4-5 tahun lalu) saya ada beberapa artikel yg mungkin bisa dibaca, nanti saya kirim ke email mas Edi.
