CMIIW. Pada penciptaannya, semua ini, baik USS, NCC, 1701 tidak ada arti atau tujuan apa pun. Cuma agar terdengar enak saja. Belakangan, dalam perkembangannya, mungkin pada akhirnya "terpaksa" dicarikan kepanjangan/artinya, USS itu apa, NCC itu apa.
