Mbak Ambar, Mas Bagindo, Saya pernah pengalaman mengurus Visa Schengen dan Hunggary (pada satu waktu) karena saat itu mau liat Formula One (F-1) di Hunggary namun liburannya di negara2 schengen. Dari Fihak Schengen, mereka minta visa Hunggary dikeluarkan dulu (maksudnya kami harus apply visa Hunggary), pas sudah ke kedutaan Hunggary, eh mereka minta kami harus apply visa schengen dulu (kalau nggak salah, schengennya waktu itu German). Karena saya di lempar-lempar begitu, jadinya saya akalin. Ticket sementaranya saya rubah menjadi tidak ada Hunggary nya. Pas ke kedutaan German, akhirnya visa schengen dikeluarkan (toh saya pikir kalau dari german kan bisa naik mobil ke Hungary), eh, iseng-iseng, ticket sementara saya rubah lagi, mendadak ada Hunggary nya, akhirnya oleh kedutaan Hunggary, visa dikasih juga. Yg perlu diperhatikan saat apply adalah bukti kita sudah booking dari hotel yang akan kita tinggalin harus dikirim via Fax dari Hunggary (nggak mau pakai email), padahal kami maunya tidak di hotel berbintang (ada apartemen sewaan dekat dengan track F-1) yg tidak ada faxnya, mana orang Hunggary, bahasa Inggrisnya susah bukan main, lewat telpon juga sengsara banget, akhirnya terpaksa deh, kami cari hotel yang ada fax nya (ada bintangnya tentu saja) dan pasti mahal dan di kota (track F-1 di luar kota), trus Hunggary itu saklek banget, kalau kita bilangnya mau 2 hari (harus tertulis di ticket atau di bukti sewa mobil), ya cuma 2 hari saja ada di negara itu, trus disuruh pergi. Nggak seperti negara-2 yang lain, biar kita cuma stay 2 hari, dikasihnya sebulan. Aneh kan?

APPLICATION CHARGE There is a non-negotiable and non-redeemable application charge which must accompany each application. The application cannot be processed until the charge has been received. IMPORTANT NOTICE A valid Schengen, American, Canadian, Norwegian or Swiss visa already on your passport may considerably help you reach a positive outcome as regards to your application. PLEASE NOTE A visa issued is only a preadmission to enter Hungary. It does not entitle the holder to cross the border automatically.
