NAEMT Web Site Gets an Upgrade

The National Association for EMTs has redesigned its Web site. Along with information about membership and the Annual Meeting and Expo, the site also features recent issues of NAEMT News (as PDFs), an online bookstore and e-mail links to organizational liaisons, such as the American Ambulance Association and the National Association of EMS Educators. Soon to be launched are pages on grants and projects, legislative agenda, EMS careers, the history of EMS, EMS statistics and an events calendar. Check it out for yourself at www.naemt.org.

The JEMS EMS Research Grant awards $1500 to an individual or agency for the completion of a research project that studies the impact on care that results from having two paramedics on each ALS call vs. the use of only one paramedic.
