FDA Warns of Complications from Metallic Tracheal Stents

A recent FDA public health notification advises providers of serious complications in patients with benign airway disorders who have metallic tracheal stents in place. The notification lists associated problems, including mucus plugging, for which a person may activate EMS. For details, click here.
