>  Stroke Conference Abstracts Being Accepted

Late-breaking science abstracts and ongoing clinical trials are being accepted from Oct. 7–Nov. 10, 2005, for the American Stroke Association’s International Stroke Conference 2006, which will be held in Kissimmee, Fla., Feb. 16–18, 2006, at the Gaylord Palms. Such abstracts focus on “unusually important results” obtained since the regular abstract deadline, which was Aug. 22.  The International Stroke Conference is an annual event featuring more than 500 presentations highlighting the most recent advances in cerebral circulation and brain function, clinical stroke research and outcomes, rehabilitation science and surgery. For conference information, submission guidelines and to submit abstracts, visit strokeconference.org.
