A. Latest Situation in Merapi, 11.45 AM
  1. Dompol Post :
There is a huge horizontal explosion (eruption) which pointing to Gendol river with the spray up to 6-7 Km. The eruption which contain hot gas and volcanic material is still coming out from the crater, and it is a threat to the people who live around near this area. The Merapi most hazard prone areas, Magelang, Cangkringan, West and South of Merapi Merapi, Prambanan, Klaten District, Kaliworo and Kali Gendol. The citizen which have evacuated are in the amount of 3.507 lives from Siderejo, Tegal Mulyo, and Bale Rante. The explosion is still occur.  Idetails information, contact  :

  1. PPGM Kaliurang :
Eruption is pointing toward to Kali Gendol and the Merapi status is still in the highest level. The mount Merapi is fogged and no visual observer can be done. Further information, contact :

The lava followed by hot gas, has caused avalanches, twice with the distance 2 ½ -3 ½ Km, toward to Kali Gendol and Kali Boyong. Right now, the intensity of hot gas is very strong. Details information, contact :

4.   Kemalang Post:
the high density of hot gas (wedus gembel), is pointing to Magelang from 07.00 AM until now. The strongest one was happen on  10.00 AM.

5.   Metrotvnews.com, JogJakarta:
Mount Merapi in Jogja and Central Java was exploded, twice (8/6). The pyroclastic sprayed occurred on 09.03 AM and the second sprayed was happen on 09.38 AM. Metro TV Reporter, Edward AR who is on duty in Kaliadem, Jogjakarta, 4 Km from Mount Merapi, reported that there was a chaos around the merapi areas. B. Latest Situation Post Earthquake in Jogjakarta and Central Java
            Based on the information from local newspapers and direct call from the hospitals in Jogjakarta and Central Java, some of the earthquake victims are affected by  post traumatic syndrom and depression which can pressure to commit suicide. Until yesterday, at least 6 people were died by commiting suicide and 66 people are indicated of potential to commit suicide (Koran Tempo, 8/6). From 6 cases of suicide, 2 of them were found in Bantul, one in Sleman, one in Yogya City, one in Kulon Progo, and the last in Gunung Kidul. Some of the hospitals in Jogja and Central Java which handle this cases, are Mental Hospital (RSJ) Grasia, Pakem and Mental Hospital(RSJ) Dr.Soedjarwadi, Klaten. Further information, contact :

A. Situasi Terakhir Merapi, 11.45 WIB
  1. Posko Dompol :
Kondisi saat ini sudah ada letusan secara horizontal (erupsi) yang cukup besar mengarah ke sungai Gendol dengan pancaran erupsi 6 sampai 7 km. awan panas turun ke bawah beserta gas tekanan tinggi sekali yang masih terus keluar dari pori-pori gunung. Kubah Merapi berupa material gunung sebesar 4 juta kubik dapat sewaktu-waktu jatuh dan berbahaya bagi warga sekitarnya. Daerah rawan saat ini : Magelang, Cangkringan, arah barat dan selatan gunung Merapi, Prambanan Kab Klaten, Kaliworo dan Kali Gendol. Terjadi lava disertai awan panas yang menyebabkan longsor dua setengah sampai tiga setengah kilometer. Menuju ke Kali Gendol dan Kalo Boyong. Saat ini intensitas awan panas sangat kuat. Keterangan selengkapnya, hubungi :

4.   Posko Kemalang :
Kenaikan asap tebal (wedus gembel) kearah Magelang dari pukul tujuh pagi sampai dengan saat ini. Yang paling kuat terjadi pada pukul sepuluh pagi.

5.   Metrotvnews.com, Yogyakarta:
Gunung Merapi di wilayah Yogyakarta dan Jawa Tengah, Kamis (8/6), meletus dan sudah dua kali mengeluarkan lahar panas. Semburan lahar panas terjadi pada pukul 09.03 WIB dan yang kedua sekitar pukul 09.38 WIB, saat berita ini dilaporkan. Wartawan Metro TV, Edward AR yang berada di daerah Kaliadem, Yogyakarta, sekitar empat kilometer dari Gunung Merapi, melaporkan bahwa kekacauan terjadi di sekitar lereng Merapi. B. Informasi Terakhir Paska Gempa Yogyakarta dan Jawa Tengah
            Berdasarkan informasi dari berbagai surat kabar dan laporan dari beberapa rumah sakit di Yogyakarta, sebagian korban gempa bumi mengalami trauma dan depresi yang memicu upaya bunuh diri, dikarenakan tekanan jiwa akibat dari peristiwa bencana yangterjadi sepekan lalu. Hingga kemarin, setidaknya 6 orang meninggal dunia dan 66 orang lainnya berpotensi bunuh diri (Koran Tempo, 8/6). Dari enam kasus itu, dua diantaranya ditemukan di Bantul, satu di Sleman, satu di Kota Yogya, satu di Kulon Progo, dan satu di Gunung Kidul.
