Volume 32/Friday, June 23rd 2006 (05.00 PM)
A. Post Earthquake Information
1. Satkorlak DIY Yogyakarta :
Right now, the public attention is less focusing on post earthquake condition. The Satkorlak iotself found some problems in the field, such as :
- Health Municipality division still needs wheelchair and other help aid for
those who need it,
- Aid in the form of milk is needed, but not the liquid one, because there is not any cold storage,
- Disaster management and coordination is needed to achieve the effectiveness and efficiency of response and recovery. As it shown when the erthquake was happen on last May 27th 2006, because the lack of coordination affected most areas with the high impact have not received the aid which were required by the victims,
- The Tsunami issue which was heard by the public days ago, has affected a paranoid
- The longitudinal earthquake caused varioud damages on houses,
- The sound of beam from th eground has caused panic to the citizens, they were afraid that the ground will actually fall,
- Some citizens destroy their houses to avoid the possibility of some materials or ruins will hit the others, but some of those also do this to get the compensation from the government,
- Some relief, such as tents dan water purifier from the foreign organizations, can not be operated because it was not attached with manual books, nor supported by technician who understand how to operate it,
- In some cases, the tents which were given away to the citizens or earthquake victims who lost their
houses and use the tents as a temporary shelter, did not received the tents components completely. It was because, the authorities which were in hurry to distribute it,
- There are citizens who actually sell their tents which they got from the donors,
- Right now, most of family want to have their own tent, they are bore to share the tents with the other family members. Further information, contact :

2. Bappeda DIY
The reconstruction planning in some areas has not yet started, it is because there is not enough fund to fulfill the houses compensation of the earthquake victims. Nevertheless, the local authorities has started doing the assessment. Meanwhile, in some areas the living cost has not distributed to all earthquake victims, it is because the local authority has not yet received the full amount of money of living cost from the central authority. INFO TERKINI MERAPI & PASKA GEMPA
YOGYAKARTA DAN JAWA TENGAH
Volume 32/Jumat, 23 Juni 2006 (17.00 WIB)
A. Informasi Paska Gempa
1. Satkorlak DIY Yogyakarta :

Eddy Siswanto/Bappeda DIY, Hp : 0811293459
B. Informasi Kondisi Terakhir Merapi
1. Posko Pramuka Peduli Bencana :
3. Pada tanggal 22 Juni 2006 pkl. 00.00 s.d. 24.00, tercatat gempa MP 39 kali, gempa guguran 319 kali, awan panas 12 kali dan gempa tektonik 3 kali, sedangkan gempa vulkanik, baik vulkanik dalam (VTA) maupun vulkanik dangkal (VTB), tidak terjadi.
Jumlah awan panas relatif menurun, sedangkan guguran lava pijar masih berfluktuasi.
5. Aktivitas Gunungapi Merapi masih tetap dalam status AWAS karena masih terdapat potensi terjadinya awan panas akibat aktivitas magmatis di permukaan/puncak.
6. Sehubungan dengan status Awas,
direkomendasikan:
a. Agar wilayah di sepanjang alur K. Krasak/Bebeng, K. Bedog, K. Boyong, dan K. Gendol dalam radius 8 km dari puncak G. Merapi dalam jarak 300 m dari tebing alur sungai tersebut di atas tetap dikosongkan karena masih berpotensi terancam awan panas;
