Currently we received an information on earthquake which was happen in some parts of Indonesia today. For details, please read the information below.
Latest Information on Earthquake Occurence per July 17th 2006 :
1. Based on Metereology and Geology Board (BMG) Jakarta.
First earthquake was happen at 03.19 PM within 6, 8 Richter Scale with the
epicentrum located in Pangandaran Sea (South Sea of Java), Hindia Ocean, 286
Km in Southern Bandung. The shake and tremble was felt in Bandung, Garut,
Central Java, and Jakarta. the Tsunami issue was heard in Southern side of Java
Island, especially in the West Java Coast, a half an hour from the first earthquake
occurence. the next earthquake was happen
at 04.05 PM within 6, 8 Richter Scale;
04.13 PM within 5, 5 Richter Scale; 04.55 PM within 5,7 Richter Scale, and the
latest one was happen at 05.09 Pm within 5, 7 Richter Scale.
2. Based on entre of Vulcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation ESDM
The earthquake was happen at 04.00 PM within 7,2 Richter Scale. The shake was
not stopped for more less then 40 minutes. the epicentrum was located in 92,295
south latitude and 107, 347 east longitude.and it was 48 Km depth from the ocean.

Notes : So far, there is not yet any victim reported, but however in Pangandaran, West Java , houses and building were reported collapsed and damaged.
