Dear colleagues,
I am happy to report that there indeed exists a privately printed
biography of Benfey by his daughter, of considerably greater magnitude
and import than the introduction in his /Kleine Schriften/ in that it
features extensive correspondence. Our colleague Anett Krause has
discovered a copy of it in the library of the University of Leipzig. It
is now digitized and available.
