I have fond memories of Albrecht Wezler, among other reasons that he graciously hosted me in Hamburg long ago, I think around 1988. I also treasure the complete set (three volumes) of the rare *Kharosthi Inscriptions *of Bjoyer, Rapson, and Senart which he generously gave me (and which he in turn had received from L. Alsdorf). I still use them constantly and remember Albrecht when I do.
