Coincidentally, I came across "-mālaka" in the Suśrutasaṃhitā just a week or two ago. The sentence is here <https://saktumiva.org/wiki/wujastyk/susrutasamhita/05-su.ka/provisional-edition_kalpasthana?upama_ver=gv7efxs1nu&upama_scroll=SS.5.4.16>, and the compound *cuñcumālakayukta* describes what a snake-bite site looks like; it has "a little ring of spots" around the fang-indentations.
