Dear List Members, According to the Bālacarita, one of the so-called Bhāsa-dramas, Vasudeva had to beat and tie up Nandagopa on the orders of Kaṃsa. I wonder if there are any other sources of Kṛṣṇa's life that are familiar with this event.
