Dear Harry, 

I’m a bit confused about the terminology used here in this discussion — kalā ?  
kāla ? 

In Tamil … they mean / signify different things. 
 
kalā — relates to the phases of the moon; extended meaning being 'art/artistic'

kāla — relates to Time
