ARTISTS AND MUSICIANS FOR EAST TIMOR
Fran Cummings of Pandanus Art Services, ( ex curator of the Gold Coast City
Art Gallery) and Greg Colwill, Elephant Rock Cafe at Currumbin, are
organising an "Artists for East Timor", Benefit night at the Elephant Rock
Cafe , Currumbin Beach, 7 pm until late,
on 29th October. Tickets $25 each which includes entertainment, finger
food, and a donation. Proceeds to Medicins Sans Frontiers (winner of the
Nobel Peace Prize this week) and East Timor Relief Association.
Musical Entertainment will be: Classical Piano, and Late Night Jazz.
There will also be an art auction , cash bar and prizes.
The musicians: John Colwill, Judith Henley, Nya Murray, Cassandra McLean.
The artists: Anna Bassi, Elisabeth Cummings, Joe Furlonger, Jack Ash,
Spencer Shakespeare, Pat Van Ingen, Roberta Bassi, Alyson Baker, Ian
Tremewen, Bob Connery, Liz Tanke, Sherrie Knipe, Mona Ryder, Greg Colwill,
Thornton Walker, Leonard Brown.
This promises to be a great night, at a very plesant venue.
