The current behavior of salvage is to parallel up to four salvage
operations. This is nice except that there is no way to tell it how
to avoid salvaging multiple partitions on the same disk
simultaneously, which is a Bad Thing (tm).
I found someone at Transarc who understood this and entered defect
#7307 on my problem TR-19712. If anyone else feels strongly about the
desirability of a fix for this, please feel free to contact Transarc
yourself.
